1) Scope and Acceptance
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our website and services, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services we make available (Services). By accessing or using the Services, or by placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
Mandatory Consumer Rights. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country or region. Where mandatory rules provide you with additional rights, those mandatory rules apply.
2) Eligibility and Account
You represent that you are at least the age of majority in your place of residence and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You may not transfer, sell, assign, or license your account to any other person.
3) Products and Information Accuracy
- Handmade products may have minor variations, and colors may appear differently depending on lighting and screen settings.
- Product descriptions, photos, and prices may be updated at any time at our discretion.
4) Orders, Contract Formation, and Cancellations
Order Acceptance. Placing an order is an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline any order at our discretion. An order is accepted when we confirm acceptance (for example, by sending an order confirmation indicating acceptance or by shipping the product).
Cancellations.
- Ready-to-Ship Orders: You may request cancellation before shipment. We will confirm whether cancellation is possible.
- Made-to-Order / Custom Orders: You may request cancellation within 24 hours after payment. This 24-hour cancellation window is strictly time-based and does not depend on production status. After this window, the order cannot be cancelled, except where mandatory law requires otherwise or where we confirm cancellation in writing.
5) Prices, Taxes, and Payments
Prices may change without notice. The price charged is the price shown at the time you place the order.
Currency and Rounding.
Prices are displayed in the currency shown in our store at checkout. If currency conversion is applied by your bank, card issuer, payment provider, or a third-party service, the final charged amount may differ due to exchange rates, fees, and rounding. Where applicable, taxes, shipping, and other charges are calculated at checkout based on the Delivery Destination and the information you provide.
Unless stated otherwise, prices do not include shipping, customs duties, or import taxes. You are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes charged by your country, unless we explicitly state otherwise.
Import duties and taxes are not included at checkout and are paid by the Buyer upon delivery, unless we explicitly state otherwise in writing.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and payment information. We may use fraud prevention measures and may cancel orders that appear fraudulent or unauthorized.
6) Shipping and Delivery
Estimated delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, or events outside our control.
USA (Shipping Time Commitments).
If you are ordering for delivery in the United States, and we cannot ship within the time stated (or within 30 days if no time is stated), we will provide the legally required notice and options, which may include consenting to a delay or receiving a refund for the unshipped merchandise.
Risk of Loss.
Where you are a Consumer, the risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), acquire physical possession of the goods. If you commission a carrier that is not offered by the Seller, risk may pass upon delivery to that carrier. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer rights applicable in the Delivery Destination.
7) Returns and Refunds
Returns, refunds, and withdrawal rights are governed solely by our Return & Refund Policy. If mandatory law grants you additional rights, those mandatory rights apply.
8) Pre-Shipment Photo/Video Approval for Custom Orders
For Made-to-Order or Custom Orders, we may provide photo/video materials for your approval before shipment. Your approval confirms that visible features match the agreed specifications, acknowledging minor handmade variations and screen/lighting differences. This approval does not waive any mandatory rights.
9) Prohibited Uses
We may suspend or terminate access for violations, including unlawful activity, infringement, malware, unauthorized access, scraping, or interference with the Services.
10) Intellectual Property
All content on the Services (including text, images, designs, and logos) is owned by Seller or licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
11) Third-Party Tools and Links
The Services may include third-party tools or links. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.
12) Relationship With Shopify
LaurusbyOlga is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, any sales and purchases you make in our store are made directly with LaurusbyOlga. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sales between you and LaurusbyOlga, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products and services. You expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with LaurusbyOlga.
13) Privacy
Our collection and use of Personal Information is described in our Privacy Policy.
14) Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services and products are provided on an As Is and As Available basis.
15) Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law, including mandatory consumer protection rules.
16) Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws that apply in your country or region. Where mandatory law grants you the right to bring claims in your local courts, those rights remain unaffected.
